Challenges

The sheer scale of the insurance industry posed the biggest challenge - deciding what to cover and what to discard, then segmenting the chosen information into a manageable structure

Role

Design, develop, and project manage a 2–3-hour fundamentals course covering the insurance industry to be used by both the agency’s outside consultants planning on working in the industry, and internal support staff mostly working overseas

Tools

Articulate Storyline, PowerPoint, MindMap, Excel

Audience

There were two audiences. The first group covered thousands of support staff, mostly based overseas. The second group comprised consultants who, although experienced in the consulting field, were relative newcomers to the insurance industry as a client base.

Camtasia/Descript Video Production
The production flow included videotaping the live interviews on-site, moving the raw video into Descript AI for transcription and editing and then finishing up with intro/outros and B roll in Camtasia
PowerPoint Storyboard
Unlike most of my projects, an offshore development team was assigned to me to develop the Storyline work. Here is an example of the storyboard I initially provided for this work
